Helpful Search Tips

Use a Google Site Search.

Within a Google search use one of the following search structures:

keywords  site:carrollcuration.com

-OR-

site:carrollcuration.com  keywords

Ex:  grading site:carrollcuration.com

Ex:  site:carrollcuration.com "chronicle of higher education"

Be specific - use "quotation marks" to lock a phrase together.

Ex:  "New York Times"

Remember, search engines search using their own index not the live site.

If this site has been updated since the last time the site was crawled by the search engine, the results will not show even if they are on the website.

Articles are listed by publication date.

Articles are listed within the curation by when they were published, not by when they were added to the curation.

If you are looking for something you saw that it not showing up in the search results, it might be better to use your browser to search the specific page.

On a computer:

Use command+f on a Mac or ctrl+f on Windows, and use the local search box to find text on a specific page.

On mobile:

In Safari, click on the share button (the box with the vertical arrow) and select 'Find on Page'.

In Chrome, click more (the three dots) and select 'Find on Page'.
